Emma is a senior newsroom developer in the visual and data journalism team. She joined the Financial Times in 2020, where she uses engineering skills to tell stories in interesting and innovative ways.

She previously built websites and data visualisations for organisations including The Wellcome Trust, Beyond Words Studio, and the British Film Institute.
